Dobara – parents once again!

As they say, happiness can come when least expected! In this pandemic era we are fortunate enough to be parents once again. Initially we were scared due to ongoing uncertainty of lock downs, jobs, safety in hospitals etc… But as Morpheus said in The Matrix “Whatever happened, happened and couldn’t have happened any other way”. We chose to take this as an opportunity and move forward. Believe me, It was difficult than the first time, but we began with a fresh perspective. We made up our mind to walk slowly and steadily, one step at-a-time. This time our journey was turbulent, but we sailed through it. and on 9-Oct-2020 We were blessed with another healthy baby boy. Here, I want to acknowledge the contribution of our first kid Smayan ( I have written a poem for him as well ). He surprised us in each and every way possible. He not only stayed on the course, he made sure he is guarding angle for his mother through out the journey. This 4 year old did chores around the house. After 4 months of pregnancy he made sure his mother doesn’t bend for “anything”. He was like a guarding angle to ensure his mother is protected and his younger sibling arrive with best possible care. Hats off for him!!!!
