I am still resilient to believe that from tomorrow there will not be Outages, Up-gradation, Migration, Change requests, Service requests, Documentation or anything that I have been doing for last 5 years, 11 months, 21 days. Yes, Its a fact that there will be something new to learn everyday but change is difficult to adapt and I am not an exception.
I still remember the day when I joined this amazing organization. In the induction only I realized that this is the kind of organization one can dream of joining. The track record was proven and overwhelming. ( During recession no layoff of any technical employee ). Anyone can sense the harmony, order and a workflow which is efficient yet easy. We just have to focus on only one thing our job. The more I worked the more I came to know about the opportunities I can have. The possibilities are humongous for an individual to grow. Be it career-wise, learning-wise, growth-wise, in short “*wise”. Got a chance to work with creative, passionate yet humble and down to earth people. They are ready to answer patiently to the tiniest down one may have. The work culture is really productive and employee welfare is serious business to them.
Transition is not easy but we need to adapt. Its essential for growth. The surrounding around us can be a key factor during this transition. In my case while I have decided to move on my managers and fellow teammates were not only positive but also supportive. Management is so co-operative that the release formalities are of least hassle. Managers play a vital role in the organization and they can make or break the company. I worked with managers who believed in “making” a company. Teammates also play a very crucial role during this transition. I am lucky enough to have awesome co-workers. Their contribution is impeccable.
I am heading off to begin my next chapter exploring the future of social.
I am excited about my future there while I continue to be excited about all the things these awesome people continue to accomplish here.
